I just can't wait: http://www.casttv.com/video/dsdz1z/julie-julia-trailer-video
I'm coming back (sorry, and sorry for saying sorry!) with reviews, restaurants, and recipes! I've been developing the perfect strawberry-rhubarb crumble (ala Starbucks, even if you consider them the evil empire, this thing is fab!!) and need just one or two more passes to have it publish-worthy.
Woo hoo, and let me know if you want to go see Julie & Julia when it opens this August (seriously). I've read the book (3 times, I love her desperation) and listened to the book on cd in the car (a no-no with kids in the car as it's a bit, well, ribald). I'm thinking on sneaking in some wonderful, butter-laden something or other to enjoy with the flick. It's only fitting and I think we should have a very large group to mob the theater. I'm planning to taking any of my girls who want to go and would love to have you tag along. It's a few months away (Aug. 7), so put it on your calendars now.
As Julia would say, Bon Appetit!

I'm in for the movie. I took a class at the Kitchen Studio and you recommended the book and I enjoyed reading it.
Excellent!! I'll make another post that week. I'm thinking of a showing around 6 or 7ish. Maybe we'll have everyone meet at TKS for a cocktail before we go. Hmmmm.
Hey this sounds fun! Do you have a day?
Duh. August 7. I just don't read things.
Aug. 7, and I'm thinking of having a fun contest and giving away tickets too! I'm thinking a little JC-themed cocktail hour at TKS before the movie, but let me formulate a plan and make a big announcement. Woo hoo!
That sounds like a fab idea! I've read the book...think i'll listen to it now
